Beautiful one, God's beloved, thank you for your prayer. So much has caught my attention today from the state of our country to the humanitarian crisis in Greece, Syria, and Turkey. China encompassed in sickness and the persecution of Christians, there and around the globe. So many people suffering and the one true answer is Jesus.
I had a moment this morning where I started feeling overwhelmed by such sadness and tragedy but I am reminded in God's word that He is the author, He is the answer and He has a perfect plan. While I can't comprehend His ways I can pray for those suffering and ask for God's grace to be poured out on them today. We have been greatly anticipating Brian's trip to Papua New Guinea to fix the generators at multiple Mission centers. We were wondering if it was really wise to send out a team with the Corona Virus making headway into so many countries. We decided to reach out for wise counsel from a doctor that lives and serves overseas. We have trusted this Doctor for years while we lived in PNG he is very honest and gives the facts. He recommends the team be postponed to let this virus die down and see what the future holds. This not only will protect Brian and the team but also protect those they visit and us at home. It was disappointing to hear His recommendation as we had hoped he would just say it's a sensationalized cold virus but it's actually quite serious. He said it's not the best time to take such long flights. Please continue to pray with us that God stems the tide of this virus and that it is contained so that people are protected from the harm of this sickness. We also pray that this circumstance would open the eyes of those that need Jesus and they would call out and be saved. God can be glorified in every situation. Brian will continue to work at the I-Tec center and we will continue to pray for God's perfect timing. We know God is never surprised by the changes in our plans. Please pray the team would have peace and trust God's perfect timing as they were really looking forward to getting over to PNG to help out with the generators. Thank you so much for praying!
