Isn't is amazing to watch life change around us. Here is a picture of our boys when we first went to Papua New Guinea. Now seven years later we have another picture of growth and God's grace bringing us to this season of our lives..Some changes are amazing and some are not so much. The world is ever changing around us and I am so thankful we can trust a sovereign God as we face the changes and uncertain times. I am so thankful to see that our faith in Jesus is what keeps us forever grounded and our knowledge of God's word is our guide and litmus test for everything unfolding around us!
We praise God for all He has provided for our family to be here in America. Please pray for our continued safety as we watch God's hand continue to guide and shield us from harm. Just yesterday Brian came home, I was surprised as he walked up the driveway and didn't drive up. He had been out in his truck, hauling a trailer full of wooden flooring for his parents and sister. God is so gracious, Brians transmission gave out just when he arrived home.
I guess the best part of this story is yet to come as I can't wait to see how God is going to take care of this! God always has an answer and always has a lesson for us to learn as we walk our walk of faith. I will love to see our boys once again see the faithfulness of God.
As I look around a very hurting world I realize a transmission is the least of our worries and yet I know God cares even about that. He cares about a truck man that insists on having a vehicle that he can bless others with.
We are all growing, we all have situations where we are waiting to see God's answer whether it's yes, no, or wait and I pray that as you wait with us to see God at work in your life that you will praise Him along side of us because our God is so worth of praising.
Love to you all!
Psalm 28:7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him.
Psalm 22:22 i will declare Your name to my brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will praise you.
