![]() We were not feeling like we needed a break after only being in PNG for eight months but our medical issues were piling up and Brian's tooth sure needed to be fixed. We found ourselves surrounded by Australian hospitality and our Christian circle just expanded as so many from the body reached out to meet our physical needs and touched our hearts as well! Thank you Ben, Hung, Edward, Keiyeng, Steve, Mike, Yinleng, and your lovely church for such an amazing time of renewal and open hospitality! We were on the receiving end and we were so very blessed by all your kindnesses and care! It was a wonder to be in a land where we were one of the masses instead of being totally aware that we are different and could be the next target. It was a lovely break from being so "ON" and what a delight to get a meal at McDonalds and enjoy the play land. I think for the boys that was the highlight of the trip! Well petting the kangaroos and holding the huge snake was a close second! So we are back into our ministry, nothing outward here has changed but our hearts have been encouraged, our spirits renewed and our courage restored and we are excited for what our future holds in our ministry here in PNG! The boys were happy to come "home" as home is where your kitty is apparently! :) We send you our love! Thank you for praying! We'll write more soon as our adventure unfolds!

![]() Colton and Joshua are amazing little boys as they really get the fact that though they miss their Dad they are so glad he is able to go help the Missionaries. Colt was a bit teary as he wished that he could go along for the trip but a week away from school is quite a big gap and the length of the trip may have been a bit much for the little guy. We are holding down the fort here! The boys have been enjoying there exploits of catching lizards and looking for tree frogs. We have our Fellowship group from our church coming over tonight for dinner and a bible study at 7:00 you are all welcome to join us! :) The boys ask every night "so who's coming over tonight"? They are always disappointed when it's just us eating alone so the company will make them happy! Thank you for your prayer! Your prayer helps make our work here most rewarding! Brian and Mike were able to get one septic sytem and bathroom complete and have two more to go! They are making good progress and enjoying their time with the Missionaries! Love you all! ~Rachael for the Montei Men~ |
