![]() Brian and our co-worker Mike had our little Kubota tractor ready for take off this week. It took some time but they took it apart and put it back together to make sure they had all the tools they would need in the tribe to put it back together. They also found many different parts that needed to be fixed or replaced so the little tractor would be running smoothly, ready for the task of grading the airstrip that is needed in this remote location. Right now the work in Hewa is only accessible by a very long grueling hike or by helicopter. We feel so privileged to play a little part in this work as this isolated tribal group will have the opportunity to hear of Jesus and be discipled and given God's word in the years to come! The little Kubota tractor will stay in it's tribal location because after it helps build the airstrip it will then help maintain the airstrip in the future! Brian and Mike had this tractor back together in record time. They flew in Friday, had it back together by Friday night and running by Saturday afternoon. This little but mighty tractor started the work of the airstrip Saturday afternoon and has a huge job of being a useful tool in the hands of the Missionaries. We praise and thank God for giving us this opportunity to help equip His people to accelerate the work of bringing the Good News of Jesus to this lost tribe
